Library Media Center

The Library Media Center, located on the third floor of the high school, supports tudent learning and research.  Our goal is to help students become confident users of information and thoughtful learners.

Hours and Access

• Open daily from 7:15 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
• Open late two days a week until 4:30 p.m.

Resources

The library offers:

• Books for reading and research
• Online databases and digital resources
• eBooks and subject-specific tools

Students may use the library for:

• Research and classwork
• Computer access
• Reading and study

May resources can be accessed from home at catalog.kcsd.org.  Passwords are available from library staff. 

Expectations

• The library is a quiet and respectful space
• Students must follow the Acceptable Use Policy when using computers
• Disruptive behavior or misuse of resources may result in loss of library privileges

Programs and Support

The library offers programs throughout the year, including a book club, to encourage reading and learning.
