Summer School 2025
If your child earned a failing grade in a required course (English, Math, Science Social Studies, Health and/or Physical Education) at Kennett High School during the 2024-25 School Year (and/or possibly during a previous school year), and do not have enough credits to meet KHS graduation requirements, your child has the opportunity to retake the failed course(s) with the KHS Credit Recovery Program (Summer School).
If your child is credit deficient, you will be communicated with this summer.
Kennett High School has partnered with Accelerate Education to offer a robust, online credit recovery program that can be completed from home. All courses are designed to serve students who need independent, self-paced, standards-based courses. Parents and Guardians will receive weekly updates showing their student’s progress in the course.
Dates, Times and Attendance
The program runs from July 7 - August 7, 2025 for asynchronous learning. Credit recovery is online and can be completed at any time, including nights and weekends from home.
Cost
There is a minimum fee of $59, which covers the cost of up to four sections for Math, Science, Social Studies, and Health and Physical Education courses. English courses are $89.
