Changes to the 2021-22 Calendar

Dear Families,

During this Academic Year, the Kennett Consolidated School District (KCSD) has experienced two inclement weather days that will need to be made up in order to meet the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s (PDE) requirements for instructional time.

Understanding this, the district has made the following changes to the 2021-22 Academic Calendar:

While March 16th and May 17th will continue to be scheduled professional development days for our staff, students are now expected to participate to the best of their ability in online learning via Microsoft Teams and Schoology.

Elementary students should join their morning meeting from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. via Microsoft Teams. Secondary students may log into Teams for live office hours with any of their teachers at the same time. Otherwise, assignments will be available on-demand via Schoology.

To log in, all are encouraged to visit KCSD’s Clever Portal using a Chrome Browser.

Questions? Please contact KCSD Communications Specialist Nikki Laws anytime at (610) 444-6646 or nlaws@kcsd.org.
