Dr. Ozer: 90-Day Entry Plan

Relationships First.  Students Always.

A Letter from Dr. Elisha Ozer

It is an honor to serve as the next Principal of Kennett High School. As I begin this journey, I am committed to leading with humility, curiosity, and a deep respect for the traditions, relationships, and successes that have shaped this exceptional school community.

Dr. Ozer listens to two community members

My first 90 days will focus on listening, learning, and building relationships. I believe the best way to lead is to first understand the people, culture, strengths, and aspirations that make Kennett unique. By engaging with students, staff, families, alumni, and community partners, I hope to gain a deep understanding of what is working well, where opportunities exist, and how we can continue to grow together.

This entry plan is built around three guiding phases—Immerse, Understanding, and Advance. Through these steps, I will work collaboratively to understand our school’s needs, align our efforts with the district’s mission and priorities, and establish a shared path forward centered on student success.

My commitment is to lead with integrity, foster meaningful collaboration, communicate openly

and consistently, and ensure that every decision is made with students at the center. Together, we will honor Kennett’s proud traditions, build on its many strengths, and create opportunities for every student to feel known, valued, challenged, and supported.

I look forward to partnering with you as we begin this exciting new chapter for Kennett High School.

With gratitude and excitement,

Dr. Elisha Ozer
Principal, Kennett High School
